Cat toys for cat sitting and cat guardians. Here I review the pros and cons of a wide variety of cat toys including self access toys, interactive toys, cat feeding devices, cat treat puzzles and such. I hope these videos help fellow cat carers make the most informed decisions possible to enrich our cat's environment to improve their physical, emotional and mental well-being.

Review of the Potaroma 3 in 1 electronic cat toy.

The skinny - thumbs up for cat sitters and cat guardians.

Pros:

• Easy to assemble - no tools required.

• Feather on top alternates clockwise and counter-clockwise.

• Feather under circular mat provides rustling, ground-level play-hunting options.

• Different modes enable feather under mat or butterfly on top, or alternating between the two, or both at once.

• After 400 seconds it goes dormant, but touch activation will set it going again. This lasts for 2 hours.

• Easy re-charging via USB.

• Butterfly attachment is generic and replacements can be bought online.

• Replacement feather for under mat can be bought online.

• Comes with a mouse and a feather as options for under the circular mat.

Cons:

• None

Comments:

As with any cat toy - whether it be self-access (think mouse toy), interactive (think fishing pole style toy) or electronic, it's key to rotate them regularly to retain interest. If a cat sees the same toy(s) day in, day out they will get bored with them soon. Got 5 cat toys? 4 of them need to be out of sight and out of mind in a closed drawer. Once a week, swap one of them out.
